Privacy Notice

Scope

This Notice covers the public GLOBAL ABAS website and the GLOBAL ABAS Advisory Portal. Separate engagement agreements may contain additional privacy, confidentiality, or data-handling terms for Advisory Services or Institutional Access.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use GLOBAL ABAS, we may collect:

• Contact and inquiry information: inquiry type, name, work email, organization, title, message, and related communications.
• Account information: email address, authentication status, account identifier, and account-security information.
• Professional profile and access-request information: name, organization, organization type, role, professional area of interest, intended use, timeline, and eligibility-review records.
• Subscription and transaction information: Stripe customer, subscription, checkout, transaction, refund, and billing-status identifiers. GLOBAL ABAS does not store full payment-card numbers.
• Entitlement and product records: subscription status, access level, purchased or redeemed products, download permissions, and related fulfillment records.
• Technical and usage information: timestamps, browser or user-agent information, network or security identifiers, authentication events, download activity, and selected website interaction events.

Please do not submit confidential client information, privileged material, non-public transaction details, government identifiers, payment-card information, or other highly sensitive information through public forms or free-access request fields.

How information is used

GLOBAL ABAS may use information to operate, authenticate, secure, and maintain the website and Portal; review and process access requests and institutional eligibility; process subscriptions, purchases, refunds, and product entitlements; deliver downloadable products; respond to inquiries and support requests; measure website usage and selected non-sensitive interactions; detect fraud, misuse, automated abuse, and unauthorized access; maintain business, tax, accounting, security, and compliance records; and comply with applicable law.

Service providers and disclosures

GLOBAL ABAS uses service providers to support its operations. Current providers include Google/Firebase for authentication, database, functions, and storage; Stripe for payment and billing services; Vercel for website and Portal hosting and website analytics; Cloudflare Turnstile for bot-abuse prevention; and Resend for transactional email delivery.

Information may be disclosed to these providers as reasonably necessary to perform services for GLOBAL ABAS. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, counterparties in a legitimate business transaction, or governmental or legal authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or respond to valid legal process.

No sale of personal information

GLOBAL ABAS does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to advertisers or data brokers and does not intentionally use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Analytics, cookies, and security technologies

GLOBAL ABAS uses essential storage, authentication mechanisms, security controls, and similar technologies needed to operate the website and Portal. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser, device, and network signals to distinguish legitimate activity from automated abuse.

Vercel Web Analytics is used to measure website traffic and selected interactions. GLOBAL ABAS does not intentionally send contact-form field values, names, email addresses, inquiry text, or Advisory Portal account information in website analytics events.

Do Not Track and cross-site tracking

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. GLOBAL ABAS does not currently change its website or Portal processing in response to browser Do Not Track signals because the services do not use those signals as an operational control.

GLOBAL ABAS does not intentionally enable third-party behavioral advertising or authorize service providers to use GLOBAL ABAS website or Portal data for cross-site behavioral advertising. Service providers may independently process technical information when their services are invoked, subject to their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.

Your choices and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account or profile information maintained by GLOBAL ABAS by emailing access@globalabas.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Requests may be limited by applicable law, security needs, active contractual obligations, or legitimate record-retention requirements. If applicable law provides you additional privacy rights, GLOBAL ABAS will honor those rights as required. You may also choose not to submit optional information or public inquiry forms.

Retention

GLOBAL ABAS retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including account and entitlement administration, transaction and tax records, support, security, dispute prevention, and legal or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and the nature of the relationship.

Security

GLOBAL ABAS uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect information appropriate to the nature of the service, including authenticated access, entitlement checks, encrypted connections, and security monitoring. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

GLOBAL ABAS services are designed for professional and business use. The Advisory Portal is intended for users age 18 or older, and GLOBAL ABAS does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through the website or Portal.

Changes to this Notice

GLOBAL ABAS may update this Privacy Notice as its services, providers, or legal obligations evolve. The current effective date is posted on this page. Material changes will be identified on the website or Portal and, when appropriate, communicated by email or another reasonable method.
