Our Transaction Support Services provide strategic and practical advice and guidance to clients aiming to raise capital or restructure by entering new capital markets or changing their regulatory status through Initial Public Offerings, Private Placements, Divestitures, Carve-Outs, Spin-Offs, and/or Mergers or Acquisitions.
This support may comprise:
- Advising companies on how to manage their registration process, resolve accounting issues, respond to SEC comments, and establish appropriate corporate governance and financial reporting protocols;
- Assisting companies to have an active dialogue with their external auditors, the SEC staff, US security counsel, investment bankers and other advisors in order to help them formulate practical solutions to difficult accounting and financial reporting issues;
- Designing and implementing new data collection, accounting, financial reporting and disclosure standards, processes and systems;
- Training accounting and finance staff; and
- Providing ongoing technical advice and support on the reporting requirements as a public company.
